AFM 30 gasket sheets, dimensions 1500 x 1500 x 2 mm. DIN 3535, Part 6 FA. AFM 30 is an asbestos-free gasket material. It contains aramid fibers and other high-temperature-resistant asbestos substitutes, which are processed with high-quality elastomers under elevated pressure and temperature. AFM 30 is adaptable and possesses excellent mechanical and thermal strength, as evidenced by its high pressure resistance. It is ideal for sealing gases and liquids. AFM 30 is highly resistant to oil, gasoline, acids, and alkalis. Applications include compressors, piping, and equipment; for sealing transmission, hydraulic, refrigeration, and engine oils as well as fuels; against mixtures of water with antifreeze and corrosion inhibitors; against freons, alkalis, and solvents.
