Sponge rubber is a cellular and elastic foam material with a smooth or fabric-patterned closed outer skin that belongs to the porous rubber family. Sponge rubber is used as a sealing material in the form of sponge rubber flag profiles, sponge rubber half-round profiles, sponge rubber round cord, sponge rubber U-profiles, sponge rubber square rectangular profiles, sponge rubber frame profiles and sponge rubber sheets. Sponge rubber seals are elastic, malleable and have a very good resilience even with repeated and permanent compression.
