Stuffing box packings square 20 x 20 mm. Aramid/staple fiber impregnation: PTFE. Lubricant: kerosene oil. Hot water resistant steam up to approx. 200°C. Used against media with abrasive components. Stuffing boxes are used to seal the feed-throughs of shafts and rods through housings. Typical areas of application are Sealing of rotating shafts, e.g. in centrifugal pumps and agitators, sealing of axially moving rods (plungers) such as in piston pumps, sealing of spindles, e.g. in valves, static sealing of frames, lids and closures, heat insulation on frames, oven doors.
