Loctite 518 surface sealant 50 ml. Loctite® 518 is a one-component medium-strength anaerobic sealant that cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. Typical applications include the sealing of close-fitting joints between rigid metal gasket and flange surfaces. Tightness against low pressures is provided immediately after flange assembly. Typical range of application is the production of liquid gaskets on torsionally rigid flange connections, e.g. gearboxes and motor housings etc. Due to its thixotropic behavior, Loctite® 518 reduces the migration of the liquid product after application to the part.
