Loctite 242 Threadlocker Medium Strength 50 ml. Loctite® 242 is used to secure and seal threaded connections that have to be disassembled with normal hand tools. The product hardens in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents self-unscrewing and leaks caused by impact and vibration. Also suitable for more passive surfaces such as clad materials, where parts have to be disassembled with hand tools for maintenance.
